The 31 Day Unlimited Ride Pass will replace the monthly Fare-Deal Pass and will provide the bearer with unlimited rides on any CARTA route for 31 consecutive days after activation.  The 31 Day Unlimited Ride Pass will be available at downtown branches of 1st Tennessee, Regions, and 1st Volunteer Bank, as well as America's Cash Mart at 736 Broad Street and at the CARTA administrative office at 1617 Wilcox Boulevard.  The 31 Day Unlimited Ride Pass can be re-charged on the bus upon expiration with payment of the $50.00 fare in the fare box.  The fare box does not accept any bills larger than $20.00.

The 24 Hour Unlimited Ride Pass will be available for $4.00 and will provide the bearer with 24 hours of unlimited rides upon activation on any CARTA bus.  This pass can be purchased from the bus driver once expired and can be recharged at the fare box.  Do not discard this pass as a fee of $1.00 will be charged for replacement.

The 24 Hour Unlimited Ride Reduced Pass will be available for $2.00 to eligible customers and can be purchased from the bus driver with proper identification (Medicare card, CARTA's Special Fare ID, ADA eligibility card, a state issued photo identification card that shows date of birth, or CARTA Student Bye-Pass).  When the pass expires, do not discard the pass as it can be re-charged on the bus.  A fee of $1.00 will be charged to replace the 24 Hour Unlimited Ride Reduced Pass.

The CARTA Student Bye-Pass Card is a photo identification card issued at the CARTA Executive Offices during regular office hours.  The card costs $2.00.  Student Bye-Pass Cards are valid for one school year.  

The Special Fare I.D. Card - CARTA has a special fare program for people with disabilities.  Upon presentation of the CARTA Special Fare I.D. Card, people with disabilities are entitled to ride CARTA buses for the discounted fare.  The special fare is offered during all hours of operation. There is no charge for this card for qualified individuals. Click here for Special Fare I.D. application form.
